Quad Driver B is a fun one. Problem with the pcm'* of your generation IMO is that they weren't specific enough. Yet they were better than their predecessors.

Having 4 things to look at gives you a starting point. Check each of the other items. TCC you can check by driving and gently touching the brake pedal over 45mph to see if the TCC disengages and reengages shortly afterward. The EVAP soleniod you need to have the car up to temp and running for X amount of time (sorry I forget the correct length) , then the evap will buzz/actuate for a moment. The BCS will usually work 100% properly and give no symptoms of being bad.

This happened to me, when I owned a 95. No symptoms, I shotgunned a BCS and fixed the issue. I do suggest testing all the other items first though.

The boost is lower than normal, I know that.
I also don´t get the throttle response I´m used to.

TCC is working, I´ve checked that.

I don´t have access to a scanner and the local shop that helps me with spare parts, when they are accessible here in Sweden, are very short on mechanics right now.
They havn´t worked with SSEi´* either as there are maybe 5-10 cars overall Sweden...

Can anyone tell me the difference between the BCS and BCA for 92-95 and 96-99?

/Mike

BCA = boost control actuator, that'* what moves the boost bypass valve inside the supercharger.

BCS = Boost control solenoid, that'* what opens the valve to allow the vacuum to move the BCA.

Sorry, did write it a little wrong.
I was wondering the difference between the years, so a 92-95 BCS vs. a 96-99 and the same about the BCA 92-95 vs 96-99.

I've found the BCS'* from 92-03 to be interchangable. The BCA 92-95 was metal and slightly different than the 96-03 version.
