Default Battery Question

I got a 94 bonne and put a new battery in. I noticed the bolt that mounts the cable to the battery is rounded off and I was wondering if you can get a new pair of bolts at wal-mart. Also is it easy to get the bolt off the ends of the cables I didn't even try but it looks like it is stuck in a sleeve or boot??

I bought new ones for mine at Autozone. My positive side has two cables so I had to buy a longer bolt for that one. The bolts come out easy you shouldn't have any problem. You should go ahead and pull the plastic cover off while your at it and give the cables a good cleaning and add some terminal grease when your done.

may i add similar question.
i also added new battery to 94 bonne..
and battery hold down bolt was seized.. and broke ... nut part on top spun right off.
removed rubber (part that actually touches the battery)
can a replacement bolt , that screws into battery tray be purchased from
auto parts.. or must it be from dealer..

My son did same thing a couple of years ago. Had a hard time getting the remaining part of the bolt out, but once we got it out I just took it to hardware store and matched thread and size. Greased it up good on the threads and put it in.
