Default Any help / suggestions for re-hanging my drivers door on SSE

My hinges are on the way and have never removed more than a door panel in my time and none of my friends know and cannot afford to pay someone so looks like I am flying this one solo like and would like some info on how it is done or steps in doing it so I do not ruin my door or car....

Now I searched so please do not post a link I missed,I feel ignorant enough now..... :P

Thanks .

Are you talking about regular hinges or lambo hinges? The only problem I ran into as far as putting the door on the bonnie was the 2 top studs. If those fell down inside the car frame, then you'll need a skinny magnet retriever (just my experience). If this isn't your situation then it'* a breeze if you have all four studs in place. The door isn't that heavy, you should be able to lift it by yourself. All you need is a socket wrench, 15mm socket, and extender then you're good to go.

It'* not fun. I use a floor jack and something to keep the door from getting marred up. It'* a long process of loosening and retightening until you get close. A door hanger would be ideal..like body shops use.
