Im new to the forums and i hope to get some advice

I have a 94 bonnie 3800 sers1 tune port inject.

i keep having problems with the engine and i dont know whats going on with it.

the 1st problem i have had was the car was smelling a rank smell from the cat.
so i cut it out and put a stright pipe in back to the muffler witch is a thrust.
2 days later the car had no power and felt like it was missing so i checked the coil packs, one of them wasnt firing at all so i went and got a 3 new coils and it was fine for a day and it seems like its doing it again but not all the time...
when the car gets warm 30 min drive usally does the trick its fine no probs but i get a burn smell.. your gunna laugh but the 1st smell smelleted like an open can of tuna fish... then a few hours later its started to smell like a hit of oil and i dont know what.

but in the mornings it has no power like it is missing is there anyway i dont have enough back pressure that would cause that? right from the down pipe to the muffler is nothing.
im kinda clueless and open to any ideas.

new coils
new wires
new plugs

First thing..... Check engine light on?

sorry about the where abouts...
and no there is no engine light on and the only thing that came up was an old code
"missfire" from the coil pack

i cleared the old codes and nothing came up.
