Alright me again... On my 98 bonneville SE when I turn left I hear a loud squeal coming from my drivers side tire. and when I turn right the sound isnt there. What would the problem be?

Having a 92, I'm not sure of the differences, however after I replaced the lower ball joint on my front passenger side I began to hear a squealing everytime I'd turn...

Check the plate that sits just behind the rotor. Mine was scraping against the rotor everytime I would turn. You can usually just bend these back into place with some pliers or something similar.

First, check the squeakers on your brake pads. Their purpose in life is to squeal when the pad wears too thin. When it starts, it may only be when turning one direction.

Second, check the PS fluid level.

Third, check the belt tension.

its a squeaking noise I think...

PS fluid is good first thing I checked.

i'll let you know everything else tomorrow when I take the tire off and look at the brakes

it could also be a strut bearing. you'll notice it when you are turning and the wheels are moving vertically (bumps) If you are on a completely flat smooth surface and turning, does it do it? Do you have turns you take all the time where you know it is going to do it?

time for new brakes... simple fix. .
