Actually I was thinking that (especially if it'* clicking; i.e. more than one pop) you might want to check your CV joints and see if you've got any torn boots on the driveshafts. If your CV joints are clicking when you accelerate from a stop while turning, you'll want to get those fixed pretty soon. (Sometimes if the problem is caught in time, the CV joint can be cleaned and reinstalled in a new boot; otherwise they have to replaced if they're contaminated by road dirt.)
