Just in case anyone is unsure about "mess up" etc.. this could mean you will crash.

As WillWren mentions.. it can also be an indicator of low brake fluid or another issue. Since you had an accident..please check this out asap.

hey everyone guess wat, one of my brake pads was worn all the way down to the metal! i went to a friend who is a mechanic and he told me the brake light and the dinger would come on as a warning telling me I had no brakes! i went and got some new pads and a new rotor and he installed them and now she is driving like a champ again! no more annoying light or dinging
