Hey, until I can find the correct bracket, I have to make do with the cheap front license plate mounting bracket I got my hands on to get my front plate on my car. I JUST got it registered here today and got stopped already for not having it on the front bumper. Luckily I explained to him that I don't have a bracket and he left me alone, but I need to get it up there to avoid future confrontation.

My question is, where are the airbag sensors located behind the front bumper? I don't want to go drilling holes and deploy my bags. I have a feeling I'd be safe doing so, but I don't want to take the chance.

For the cheap-o bracket I got today, I just need to drill 2 holes, preferably along the trim line (where they'll be inconspicuous when i take the bracket off)

It'* right next to the hood catch at the top of the radiator on the bracket. You'll see it in a little pocket when you open the hood.

There are no sensors IN the front bumper.
