Default air conditioning r12 or r134?

could someone PLEASE tell me if i have r134 that would be great. my air sux... and its been 90 out..... i have no desire to drop the coinage on changing the system over, im still trying to save up to replace my tourque converter.

I _think_ you've got R134a in there. My '93 uses R12, and I have some recollection of hearing that '93 was the last year for that.

There should be a sticker somewhere under the hood that states which refrigerant was used. The connectors are different, too, so a knowledgeable A/C guy can just look at those to tell you which refrigerant you have.

R-12 has threads on the fittings and R-134a has snap-on fittings.
