Air Compressor Again
Hey guys great site. I got my 1997 Bonneville SE a few months ago, and just learned of the air compressor in the trunk. When I hit the on switch, I can hear the motor working, but stupid question: where'* the hose? I searched the trunk to no avail, and it seems stupid I can't put my hands on it. Is it possible the previous owner took it out? Thanks for any information.

Ummmm lets gets straight, you have an SE.....i dont think the SE EVER came with the Compressor for the CCR and the ELC, well the 95 you could get the SLE with the compressor ELC and CCR, but anyway.....
if you have it, and you better post pics if you do......
there is a schrader valve, right by the latch on the trunk, between the taillights

The compressor is PRIMARILY for ELC. Electronic Level control. Do you have air hoses going to each rear strut? A sensor and small arm going to the right rear A-Arm? A SECONDARY use for it is a utility inflator, with the valve located as stated, and if you're not the original owner of the car, don't count on the hose being there. Make one, or get one on Ebay.
