My bonneville 93' SE does'nt have a trunk release button also.Like PHANTOM, I checked the fuse box and found that the metal contact points where the fuse is supposed to go is'nt there. But looking inside the trunk it appears that the automatic trunk release mechanism is there! It just needs to be wired up.My car did'nt come standard w/alot of features, which i later found out, looking at other bonnevilles and looking at manuals. But i would also like to know how one would go about installing one in.And how much $$$ it might cost.

Yeah, second that: Keyless Entry is AU0, and not just on Bonnevilles either; our '96 Trans Sport shows AU0 for its Keyless Entry as well.

Remember that code next time you're looking at used cars; it'll tell you whether the car is actually equipped with keyless entry and is missing its keyring transmitters (assuming they don't provide any with the keys). Wouldn't surprise me to find out how many resold cars are being driven by new owners that don't even know their car _has_ keyless entry, because the dealers pocketed the remotes to reuse on other cars. (Those little keyring transmitter thingies are _not_ cheap.)

I own a 96 SE and it'* also missing the power trunk button but looks to have the power mechanism too. Do y'all know if the AUO code is the same for the 96? I'm going to look tonight and see if I'm just missing the transmitters.

Thanks
Michael

Checked last night, I'm missing the AUO code, but have the same mechanism that looks to be the power trunk release and all I have is a blank in the drivers door where the button should be. I also found the wiring for a power antenna even though I don't have one. Was it ever discovered if the trunk can be wired for power?
