Default Accelerating Problems

I have this really strange problem with my 92 bonnie. This only happens after like 5-7 minutes of driving. After I'm stopped, the check engine light will come on and under 25 mph it feels like I'm opperating on one cylinder (almost no acceleration). The rpm won't go up either. However once the car is over 25 or 30 mph my acceleration is back. This only happens some of the time.

Is this a problem with the fuel system or the transmition? What should I do?

well from what i experienced, when it is ur fuel system , it will cut out at high demand of fuel , like WOT . In ur case , i'd have it scanned to see what kind of codes will pop up and go from there . after all , ur SES light wont come on for nothing i'm guessing it'* something electrical but u never know get it scanned and write back with the code
good luck
Al
