not really. Even the 2000+ Bonnevilles dont' have much better of an AC system. Our 00 SIlverado gets MUCH colder too. I think a big factor is the smaller occupant cabin though?
the girl'* aurora gets much colder than my bonnie.. and much faster...

6 miles...and 70 degress...Gee that seems really good to me.
I left work at 4pm and the temp on the vent gauge said 135degrees when I got in the car.
Instantly the sweat starts to fall from my forehead. Usually I open a window for some quick relief but not today, nope, I wanted to test it at it'* extreme....(I must be nuts)....
The climate control outside temp says it is 119, I know it isn't 119 out there but I was parked right up against a concrete wall that is 30feet tall facing the hot sun and I am sure that the heat transfering from the wall and pavement to my car has to be tremendous. This trip home finds me traveling 5 miles to the frwy then 15 miles on that.
I quickly started on my trip home and the temp readouts started to drop rapidly for a short time. The ext temp stopped at 110 and the vent gauge dropped to 125 and then took its time. By the time I reached the frwy 5 miles later the vent gauge dropped to 70 and once I went from city stop and go to frwy driving the temp dropped to 47-50 degrees.
I realized that I will not park in my usual spot anymore and I am going to be looking for a nice spot.
