ac accummlator switch?
Today seems to be the day that the AC goes out! I got a "66" code for low refrigerant. I've got a R134 retro kit. However, the AC clutch cycles on and off without pulling in much if any gas.
According to the treads that I've read, you can "short" out the accumulator switch to force the AC compressor to run while re-charging. I'm presuming that the accummulator is the metal cyclinder at the back of the engine compartment...
I have a 92 SSEI. Where exactly is that switch located?
Thanks!

its there in the left side of the accumulator its the plug with 2 wires going into it.. use a paper clip or a short piece of wire to jump it.

Ahhhh! Cold Air!
The paper clip in the accumlator connector did the trick. The compressor stayed on and pulled in the new refrigerant.
Many thanks to everyone!
