three day and at least 50-100 mile rule should apply. Get some mileage on so the dry gas gets into the motor.

I'm hoping I panicked. 3 bottles of dry gas and 1/4 tank later it'* running better but, still not 100% .Rough at times but, not stalling. It seems to get better each mile.Thank you all for your advice.

4 Days later and around 200 miles and it started running real crappy this morning and even worst this afternoon. The CHECK ENGINE light came on again this morning. I went to Advanced Auto and got the codes scanned.
PO102
MAF or VAF
Circuit Low Input
Would this cause the type trouble I'm having?
Mass Air Flow sensor ? I don't know what VAF or the rest of it means???? :?

I'm at a loss. Do I spend for MAF? Do I have watered down gas? wires?Should I give it more time? I still have 1/2 a tank of gas I don't trust but, this stalling crap is getting old!

Ok..first try to unplug and replug in the connector on the maf (5 times..it'* a magical number) If that doesn't help..try cleaning the maf with the below procedure.

Pull the maf sensor out and attempt to clean it. This is done by using rubbing alcohol and a q tip. Be super gentle on the two wires...that is the actual sensing part of the sensor. If you break the wires it'* $134+$15 core charge.

I can do that. do you think soaking it for a few seconds would hurt? Would a MAF sensor cause these type problems? And this is the sensor that I took out of the filter housing and plugged into my rice pipe over a year ago?Small round thing that looks like it has a small ball in the tip?

There'* plenty of things that could cause the issue. The code says MAF..might as well start there with a free cleaning.

Next I'd be thinking about plugs and wires. But that'* down the road

I believe the MAF sensor is on top of the throttle body. The sensor that plugs into the rice pipe is the IAT (Intake Air Temp) sensor.

edit: found a thread for ya!
