Default 99 Park Ave has hard shift sometimes

I have noticed that my Park shifts hard sometimes. If you stop and shut it off and re-start it them its fine. Is this a sensor or something ??

I'd like to fathom it'* probably your shift solenoid going bad... I'm a victim myself. If you have the means, get it replaced soon, or else you can do MAJOR damage to your tranny. I neglected replacing mine and had to replace my whole transmission because of the damage it did to related components...
