I have read that it is possible to reprogram it by following some simple steps. However, I have called a few different GM dealers, and they all say that you have to take it in and have the Tech 2 computer reprogram it, and nothing else works.. Is this true? Can I actually reprogram it myself?

Also, my low coolant light, and my washer fluid lights are always on, on m LED display. They are both more then full. Is there an easy fix for this problem?I dont really care if the washer fluid doesnt work, as long as it goes off. I would like the coolant one to still work.

you DO NOT need the tech 2 to do the FOB programming, the instructions are posted here

and for the lights, go to the washer bottle and remove the connector and clean it reinstall, do the same thing for the coolant sensor it is located on the passenger side of the Rad

For the wiper fluid, there is a seperate sensor attached to your bottle. What you have to look at is the float. Sometimes they come out of the sensor. They slide right back in. If the float is off, you will get the light even if the tank is full.

Carefully pry around the rubber with your fingers and pull the sensor out and you will see what im talking about.

Ok, how exactly do i "Clean off the coolant and washer fluid sensor?" I took it off, and cleaned the prongs, and took out the actual sensor part, but didnt do anything with it yet because im not sure what to do. So do i take it apart somehow and clean it? Or what am i supposed to do?

Sorry, somehow missed you yesterday...

You clean off the connectors to the sensors. Unplug the connector and use electrical connector fluid to spray out the connector. If it'* reall dirty or corroded, also use a samll piece of fine sanpaper to get a clean metal connection.

Then use a litlle dielectric connector grease on it before re-connecting

Did you check the washer fluid float per above?

I sort of did. I wasnt sure what it meant. I took it out, and there was a pink thing on the end of the sensor, and it didnt look out of place or anything, so i put it back in before all the fluid came out lol. Unless the pink thing isnt what i was supposed to check?
