Question 98 Pontiac Bonneville SSE engine replacement

Does anybody have any pictures or diagrams of how to remove a 3800 series II engine out of a 98 Pontiac Bonneville? Current engine has a shattered #5 cylinder piston.

Welcome to GM Forum! I'm sure there'* an interesting story behind that shattered piston. Why not share it when you have a chance?

Anyway, we have a guide to removing your engine and a guide to installing your engine. Many of us have done this before, myself included (with plenty of help, of course).

Good luck, and let us know how it goes, or if you need any help.
