Then...

First thing to check will be if you are getting power to the fuel pump itself. That's a simple affair. At the same time, check for ground to the pump. If you have both, stop at that point. Your pump is bad.

If you have ground, but no power...time to move up the chain. Relay would be next in line to check. That's going to be in the passenger compartment, underneath the glovebox, and covered by the hush panel.

Honestly, I suspect the fuel pump more than anything, but it's been known to have other things go wrong in the circuit.

In my previous post there is a link to a Techinfo artilce on cleaning the ground bus. Here's a wiring diagram. If you need help on what or how to check something just let us know.

It turned out to be the fuel pump cost break down is:
tow job $65.
diagnosis $75.
new sending unit & pump $140.
labor to replace unit & clean tank $150.
