Default 96 SE side marker bulb eplacement

I have a 96 Bonneville SE with the drivers side side marker bulb out. Anyone out there that has actually replaced one? I cant get at it from underneath. I remove the two left headlight assembly bolts and expected to swing out the assemby to give me room to swap the side marker bulb. However, after the removal of the two bolts the headlight asssembly moves but seems to be hung up by something else. I am mechanical and do not want to rip things apart, im thinking its just something I am overlooking. :
Please assist.....

Default

You may be hanging up on one of the 3 harnesses going to the headlight. Make sure they're clear, and turn the lamps to unlock them from the assembly. Leave the bulbs hanging (carefully).

You didn't mention unplugging the headlamps and turn-signal bulb. The wiring harness is not going to give you much slack to work with; you need to unplug the headlight assembly. Either remove the bulbs themselves or (I think) you may be able to unplug the harness from the backs of the sockets, to leave the bulbs and sockes themselves inside the reflector... (or was that on the Ford I was working on a while back? )

Also look to see how the headlight assembly hooks in at the bottom, after you have removed the big thumbwheel attaching screws up top.

Default finally figured out the removal of the side marker lamp

Finally figured it out. After disassembling the headlight assembly, removing the airbox and the computer behing the headlamp .I realized I did not have to do that. .. When looking downward at the junction between the headlamp and the sidemarker lamp, loosen the philips screw, then take a screwdriver and insert between the fender and the side marker lamp and pop it out.
