Default '96 LSS LIM/UIM Parts & Procedure

Sorry for asking a question that'* been addressed time and time again, but I've been poring over the forums for the past hour or so and was wondering if anyone has a link to the definitive how-to on the LIM/UIM repair? The links in the older threads don't seem to work. My '96 Olds LSS (N/A) just went past the 100,000 mile mark and I've noticed the coolant level starting to fall off in the reservoir and the intake oil leak worsening. Based upon what I've read, the APN upper intake kit is the way to go along with the Dorman coolant elbows. Is anyone else making a good LIM gasket set other than GM? It'* difficult for me to get to a dealership parts counter with the hours they keep. Other than sealant, coolant, the APN kit, coolant elbows, and LIM gasket set, do I need to get anything else?

Thanks,
Jim

You will need a torque wrench that reads foot pounds and inch pounds, high temp sealant(used in the corners of the rubber lim gaskets only, and around both ends of the coolant elbow),thread sealant(used on threads of lim bolts) and a can of throttle body cleaner (might as well why you have it off), new spark plugs and a complete oil change and a shopvac is helpful. Intenceracing.com carries the good lim gasket set for 55 bucks. Hope this helps.
