Most that do live data are a bit pricy. But if you happen to have a android phone, there'* a app called torque that works real nice. I have a thread here about it, I'll see if I can find it.

No smart phone here.

I found this on amazon with free shipping to use with . I just hope the free software will allow me to diagnose the 02 and other stuff.

Might work, but looks like it will be a bit slow. Also looks like there is a enhanced upgrade, might be worth looking in to that.

a couple free things worth checking out, clean the carbon off the idle air control valve and you could have oxidation on the coil terminals and wire ends and plugs if you didnt use dielectric grease when you replaced them.

The ElmScan tools are slow and crappy, but with the right computer software they will read live data.

I use the included ScanTool.net software, which is the worst piece of so-and-so I've ever seen. But it does it job when it doesn't crash. Look into buying something called DashCommand if you go this route.

Thank guys. So i bought OBDlink SX from scantool, using free OBDwiz software which isnt that great. The fastest sample rate I can use is .25sec which translates to about 30 PID/sec...what ever that means. The 02'* are coming back good. The diagnostic tests says they are good. The realtime data shows a waveform that resembles a sinwave.... its not probably not perfect due to slow sample rate. What other kinda of data should I try to read????

The coils did get di-electric grease. Ill check the IAC and clean

The x axis is seconds, y Volts, sample rate is about 70ms (14Hz). The data was recording while driving about 40-50mph thru town.

Hmm, O21 is the blue line? Seems to be very high for a long time, that should not be the case if your crusing. It should cycle between high and low like the red line.

Thanks Danthurs. I have have been at a stop....I'll I make another plot with rpm data.

So before replacing the 02, how can I confirm the 02 is bad....not another problem like ECM, ignition, fuel....or is this enough information to tell you the 02 is bad.

Im assuming sensor 1 (0x14) is front and sensor 2 (0x15) is back.
