95 SSEi ELC Compressor work in a 99 Eighty-Eight?

Does anyone know if an ELC compressor from a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi can be installed in a 1999 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight LS?

And if so, direct plug and play?

no the 95 is mounted under the hood near the airbox, and the 99 is mounted under the rear bumper
