Default 95' SE turn signal problem

buddy of mine at work has a 95 SE bonneville whose turn signals aren't working correctly. Either the turn signal lights dont' turn on at all, or they turn on dimly and stay on without flashing. They sometimes flicker somewhat/pulsate. any idea what could be wrong? You don't here the normal 'click' you do when the turn signals are giong. Does it sound like a bad turn signal relay or whatever it'* called? If so, where is it located at? thanks!

Sounds like it may be a bad turn signal relay. You can get a good quality one for about $7 at a auto parts store (don't get the cheap one for $1.99)

They are up under the dash.....beyond that I can't give you a specific location.

I think it'* right under the dash board, up on the steering column, driver'* side.. shouldn't be too hard once I know what the replacement looks like. I finally remembered the real name for it.. "turn signal flasher relay." lol.
