Default '95 LeSabre trouble code help

My '95 appears to have an OBDII connector but yet it does not communicate with an OBDII code scanner. If it had the OBDI connector, I know how to jump the leads. How can I pull codes from this set-up?

You need a OBDI scanner with a OBDII connector cable.

Your looking for a scanner that can scan BOTH OBD1 and OBD2. Our 95'* have OBD1.5 , along with the 94'* I believe.

Where are you? I have an Actron and it does the mixed setup for '95s.

Yeah, NJ. I tried two Actron scanners lately but I guess they were too new to work on OBDI.

I'm on theother side of the state - 90 miles or so away. Thanks for the offer.

Inthedirt.... we do have other members as well.

If you list your city, one may offer up services. Or if you can get an Advance Auto to scan your car. The scanner they use will work on both OBDI and OBDII
