Does the strainer come with it also ?
No, it doesn't
Exactly.... I bought the strainer seperately... The new pump is nice and quiet... I could hear the old one inside the car with the windows closed..

autozone says they cant get the ac-delco anymore so my question is, do i replace the pulsator or do i use my old one? I'm sure the factory would say replace it but is my old one good enough, i have no idea as how long they last or even if you really need them.

If you can see where the tube goes into the pump, thats the pulsator, on the AC delco unit its part of the pump.
You can look up Delco parts with pictures here.

This is the Pulsator on the stock AC Delco Pump...

On the stock AC Delco Pump its built in or rather part of the pump...

With the Aftermarket pump you will need the pulsator if it does not have one...

Its a big pump ain't it.. lol
