Default 94ssei cataletic converter

could anyone tell me how these come off? theres no clamps it looks as tho it should slide off no welds on the end where you would think there would be but about half way where one slides on the other theres a weld all the way around but i dont see what the purpose of the weld even is there anyhow if anyone knows a trick to this please let me know other wise ill take the saws all to it in the morning thanks in advance

called a exaust shop this morning aparently theres a crimp on these so they have to be cut off and rewelded or clamped

Well thank you for letting us know that.I would have commented but the the only way i've removed a cat on a bonne is via sawzall so i wouldnt have been much help
