Bolt looked fine. No corrosion. Could it be a faulty ignition switch?

i have a 92 bonneville that used to have this problem, i tought it was everything from fuel pump to crack sensor, then finaly replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor, the car would run beutifly for at least 5 minutes, but once it was wam it would freak out and shut off, this could be your problem, does the car hard start, or just turn over untill its sputters and dies????? thats what mine did and the MAF was the prob,

Default stall

If everything shuts off and you have to reset your radio, you are loosing your Battery
connection.
Could be a bad Batt, cable, fuse connection or ground.

Hey Guys,
Finally figured out the intermittend no start and stalling...ECM would pulse the injectors sometimes...SM says to remove Ign Mod. connector and install noid light in one of the injector plugs, then hook up test light to battery voltage and repeatedly touch the purple/white wire in the module connector (Terminal D on my '94) , the noid light should come on every time you touch that wire....mine did not and after checking the injector harness went to ecm and backprobed all grounds and power wires, found several 5V references missing and no pulse to ground on any injector driver....gave the ecm a good smack while cranking and she fired right up.

im glad to hear that its fixed i love it wohen something is fixed by banging on it, you problably have a bad ground or grounds........try and find it, take it off, clean it with some contact cleaner and then refaten it using some dielectric grease (bulb grease) and that connection will be at 0ohms for a long long time........

Actually Nicky...i just replaced it with a reman unit....since all ingoing signals seemed to be ok but alot of the outgoing commands were out it seemed like an internal problem....was a little over $100.00 with exchange.
