Yes, when I had a scantool hooked up it was very close to the same. within 5* IIRC

Tonight it runs better than it did..the temp dropped 20* to 60 and it runs almost as good as it should.

By the way I found the knock sensor. I did not unplug it though for 2 reasons.

1. I read it will automatically pull 10* of timing with it unplugged.

2. I cant figure out how to unplug it.

Just had another thought...are you running with or without a MAF screen?

The plug is a squeeze clip. You have looked for anything rattling, loose or rubbing correct?

In addition to the MAF screen and the typical vac leaks, have you checked for EGR leaks?

Hmm...you said you just replaced your plugs, wires, and O2.

Per chance, is the O2 wire routed really close to the spark plug wires on that bank? That could throw off your O2 readings quite a bit.

It may be an O2 issue since it appears to have better performance in open loop mode, but I thought the o2 had little to do with WOT performance.

I am running a MAF screen. the O2 wire is FAR away from the plug wires, I route the plug wires very close tot he engine and have the o2 wire running along the firewall.

Nothing I can see is loose in the engine bay.

I reset the PCM overnight (after replacing the fuel pump) It appears to run slightly better. Still not perfect power (top end still weak) but my theory was the PCM was used to the failing FP I had in there.

O2 has about 10,000 miles on it, I replaced it after WCBF last year. It is a delco from GMPD
