Probably an airmix door actuator.

There is a short term "redneck" fix that should work until you can replace the actuator.

And when you come to the conclusion the air mix acutator is toast, this link can help you fix it...

http://www.trialsnuts.com/ecc.pdf

Note that if you decode the error in your ECC and it tells you it either needs calibration or your HVAC controller is hosed, chances are your airmix actuator is about to take a permenant vacation. Rarely is it a bad HVAC controller.

While you are at it..

Please turn off your caps. It is considered yelling when typing. And go into Profile and Signature and please add the year and model of your car.

For future searches we should mention that decoding the ECC codes is only possible up to and including 1993, 1994 and after you can not pull the codes yourself.

Please CHECK YOUR CODES and try clearing them before doing the Redneck fix.

In some cases, this will be all you need.
