i unhooked my battery today and refixed my power cable for my system...when i reconnected it and jumped my car the climate control the temp was flashing...did i t throuh 3 starts and bout 10 miles of driving...then it stopped...anyone know what this is?
Procedure for pulling codes from the climate control in Techinfo. Only works for 92/93, so you're in luck.
Probably keepalive memory lost. If you have the battery disconnected for too long, it can happen, but check the codes to be sure.

the middle vents...on the dash...i cannot get heat to come out of them in the winter...the only way i can get heat to come out is through teh defrost vents by the windshield or at the floor
The HVAC programmer wants to see somewhat cooler than interior temperature sensor air being fed from the plenum into the distibution ducts before it will allow the dash vent door to open.
In other words, the sytem is designed to work the way yours does. Generally, the heated air is more comfortable being directed toward the floor & rising. Hot air blowing from the dash vents is extremely dry & uncomfortable for our eyes.
