Way off base, and a simple reprogram won't cut it. We're talking about an L36 PCM trying to run an L27. Shift points are going to be WAY too high for the L27 in that car.

A full pcm SWAP is necessary in this case. The 95 is a hybrid. You need to find a way to make the 92 PCM work.

It'* not going to be plug and play. I think Spiral did the opposite of you, swapping in a Series 2. This is going to be a tricky job from what I understand, and I hope you're not faint of heart. I really think you'd be better off finding a donor L36 at a wrecker.

Do a search for Spirals posts (although that was L67) and find out what he did with his PCM. Maybe PM or email him for more information. You're doing what nobody has done (the reverse fashion anyway) and what nobody will probably ever do.

Honestly I think I would try to find a used L36 to put in it. You could probably get one for $500 or so, and it would be a LOT easier to put it in. To me its not worth $500 to convert from an L36 to L27. The significant loss in power, and all the work it requires to swap just doesn't make sense to me.

Point taken DB. But I got two cars for free. The patient/receiver is in mint condition. Would you have turned them down? Dont think so. I didnt want to put any more money than needed into these cars as I am pretty mechanically inclined and wanted to do it without paying someone. I wanted the challenge and experience. Thanks for all of you input. Its been great. Keepit coming.
