I found a transmission out of the same car as I have year model etc, but has the code 613btw

The traction control should not make a difference with the trans. The traction control; controls the abs by applying and release brake pressure and reducing engine power to the trans. Far as I know there is no difference in the trans.

Actually, your broadcast code is 3CXW.

Here is a screenshot of your possible broadcast codes...

Right now, you have a 3.06 final drive ratio. Your donor trans has a 3.33 final drive. You thought you could rip those tires loose now? Wait until you rip them with this trans.

You might get a check engine light due to final drive mismatch, but I doubt the pre-obd1 PCM'* are programmed to detect this. So, you should be fine.

And yes, your traction control is separate from the transmission.

I have a shift kit on the way and I already have a converter from a 93 skylark quad 4
factory stall of 2375
I found a similar chart and shows that both the 3btw and 3cxw have 3.33 final drive

my engine is from a 95 it came with a 95 trans
for fun I dropped it in and the 93 computer didn't like that 95 trans at all
both Park ave ultras

What I find very confusing is that when searching for a trans I get asked does it have nw9 traction control
yes mine does
yet the tcs isn't in the trans? That'* where I get confused
I found a 92 trans but supposedly 92 is for 92 only and 93 is 93 only
Sorry for being so confusing I just want to build this trans right!

Only way to find out is to remove the diff cover and count the teeth on the differential.

BTW, my data came from a ATSG manual if that helps any.

Upon further research the difference between the Traction control cars and non is that the grey connector has 6 pins if no traction control and 7 with traction control
I almost would rather not have traction control for racing, yes its daily driven but it gets out to the track on a fairly regular basis for amateur night

If I go with a nw9 trans im going to wire in a "traction off" button like the 94-95 cars had, 93 did not have the button
