Hi all, I have two questions.... Can the rotors and drums be cut on my car? They're the factory equipment, and I know some rotors and drums can't be turned.

Next, I think my upper intake is leaking a little oil, not bad, but it drinks about a quart every 2 months or so. Can I retorque the upper intake bolts? What are the specs?

The machine shop that does the work can tell you if there is enough material left on
them so they can be cut. Are the pulsating or have deep grooves?
I find that new rotors are just as cheap today but its all a matter of personal preference.

Yeah, they pulse when you brake. I can feel it in the steering wheel so I'm thinking rotors. Where'* the best place to buy a decent quality rotor? Should I bother with drilled/slotted rotors?

any autoparts store will do and slotted if you want so perfomance braking

Slotted rotors (good quality) and ceramic pads are WELL worth the money.

you cant retorque the bolts

Performance Hardened rotors (some have slots) will run about $200 shipped to your door.

Good ones (not the cheap ones) from most part stores are $25-30 a wheel.
