heeh sorry trying to type and listen to the wife...
'fuel in the oil'
And they said new parts because all of mine need replaced.
(bent rods, warn rocker arms, fuel injectors staying open, intake has a hole, valves too thin, etc etc, he had a reason for everything needing relaced)

No symptoms at all... nothing. It went from running great to not running. I had just took a trip with it the day before and drove it over 150miles 1 way. And no problems at all.
When it stopped I took it to a mechanic I completely trust and he said it seized... but he didn't have the ability to do a complete engine replacement...

yeah, either that or I'm going to just get a new one.
I'm really frustrated with this thing. I've loved that car since I bought it new and had NO problems with it up until then. With me working straight 12'* the last few months I've not been able to take care of it :(

The mechanic I intially took it to just works at a oil change/ minor engine place. They don't have the facilities to do the complete engine.
So I looked elsewhere...
And unlucky for me, in order for them to know all that is wrong with my car, in their words, is to have already taken the engine out and apart and just telling me what it'* going to take to get it put back together.
You see my frustration. ( All the places in town that does this does the same thing )

I got 'the call' saying that my quoted price of 1595 to do all the work went up to 3985. This includes the complete top end and a few minor things (serpentine belt, water pump etc)
I know the place is trying to gouge me because they told me that the reason that the car siezed is that therer was furl leeking into the oil so it broke down faster. And I know it'* from not changing the oil... hehe my wife drove it :(
So I want to go in with a ton of information and stick it to them.
