Default 1996 bonneville ssei dash lights not working

Hello all, I am on this post to help my boy with his car.
I was wondering what would cause the dashboard lights to suddenly stop working.

Have you checked you fuses? There is also a ground bus along the lower front door frame on both sides. Here'* a write up on how to clean them. https://www.gmforum.com/showthread.php?t=278980

Welcome to GM Forum!

Did you lose only some of your dashboard lights, or all of them? Are there any other interior lights out?

If just some lights went out its a bulb..If all it could be a bad fuse or a short..
