Default 1995 Bonneville

I just bought a 1995 bonneville with 3800 engine, none super charged. This is the first Pontiac I have had. Bought it for my son. It runs great most of the time. It starts every time and idles smooth, but every once in a while it for lack of a better term cuts out for a split second. Its like it loses spark or fuel.Sometime it does it several time in a row while driving, some time it does it once or twice in park at idle. It does not die just a burp. I have watched the tach. and it drops approx 100 RPM wene it does this. You can go a couple of days with no problem, and then it will happen but maybe only once. It has a new fuel pump, fuel filter, injecters, and what they called the brain. I dont have anything to check codes with. Also Some time the cruise works and some times not. And the radio controls on the steering wheel dont work. Any help would be appriciated.

If the SES isn't on then there won't be any codes. My Advise to you would be to pull the TB off....clean the gunk out with Throttle Body (Sensor Safe) cleaner (Will ). And get the IAC cleaned along with the MAF sensor.....It might be enough to make the car burp and could be the begining to worse running problems....My opinion. When were the plugs and wires done? Maybe check into coil packs also?

Not all codes set a light. We call these 'soft codes'. Then there'* history codes. You may have missed them when they were 'current', but they're still stored. Only active 'hard codes' set a light. So you may have codes stored, and active.

The rest of that was sound advice though.

I just knew that you're gonna go to the TB cleanliness that we all need so much.
