My son drives the car (94 SSEi) and it lost reverse, 3rd and overdrive. Over 165,000 miles on the car, so I guess it'* not unexpected (especially on an SSEi since it was probably hot-rodded a lot when gas was cheap...) Can't find a good used trans locally so will need to have it rebuilt I think. What could be the cause of losing reverse and third at the same time? Weird. My experience is mostly RWD and reverse and first are generally on the same shaft... Must be different on the FWD models.
