Anyone know why when i floor my 92 it falls flat on its face. Also when my boost gauge goes above midpoint the car shutters and feels like it is gonna fall apart. I've replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter and checked vac lines. Any ideas. It runs great otherwise, just frustrating i can't jump on it, have to be gradual to pick up speed. Also, really struggles climbing hills, temp really rises when up long hills. Appreciate any help.

Typically, any car that falls flat on it'* face under acceleration is running too rich. Too lean is more of a raspy note to the exhaust with a lot of popping.

Best advice I can offer is to get a scan tool on the car and go see what is actually happening under hard accelleration as well as during the shuddering at mid range.

For the WOT testing, watch you MAF, KR, and O2 readings. For the shuddering, I guessing at a mis-fire in the ignition.

plug and wires, cheap, and if you haven't done it, it needs them

At that car'* age, the catalytic converter can be suspect as well.

A bad or old O2 sensor will take out your catalytic converter over time. Just another possibility.

We're all guessing at this point until you get us more specific information.

Has the fuel pressure regulator been tested?

I've had at least 5 supercharger models in the 92-95 range and your symptom sounds exactly like when my mass air flow sensor was malfunctioning. You need to be VERY specific to which sensor you install. They all look the same but your 92 is pretty much specific to a 92 supercharged model. I ended up buying a new one from a local parts place and it fixed my problem. It was a very frustrating problem because I was chasing down a vacuum problem that I never had. If you know of another one you can interchange (borrow?) to see if it makes a difference, I'd do that first. Hope it helps! Chuck

As Chuck eludes to here by mentioning the MAF and others mentioning a bunch of other stuff. We really need more information, a video or other symptoms to go on as well.

Sounds like maybe plugs, wires, or a bad coil pack.
