Possibly MAF or TPS... But I'm almost doubtful that either one of these is bad...

All I can say is that you need to know what the PCM is seeing and doing before going any further... Unless you have parts to throw at it..
How about the Idle Air Control ( IAC ) valve? If that got gummed up with carbon and isn't working correctly it can cause these problems as well.

No more ideas? I'm looking for any idea, even the most rediculous.

Saturday, I am going to drop the cat out to see what that does. Anyone think I may have fouled the IAC? 60 bucks at otter zone, maf is 120, I hate just throwing parts at a problem

Wonder how many lawsuits Seafoam has filed against them for bent rods and cracked pistons?

I doubt they have any. If you do it wrong (very thorough instructions are easily available), how is it thier fault?

SeaFoam has been around and in use loner than any of us. I remember my dad using it when I was little....

Running seafoam breaks off all the carbon, and it has to go somewhere. It may have clogged the cat up...
