14 mpg, New fuel injectors?
I have been getting about 14mpg for a few months now. It is almost all city driving. Once I took it out on the highway for a while and when i filled up i got 19 mpg. I am thinking that I have a leaking fuel injector, because when I changed the spark plugs, once of them had gas on it. I was going to check the pressure of the fuel line soon. But anyway, I plan on replacing the injectors. I also want to get a new O2 sensor. I found some refurbished fuel injectors for $110 a piece.
Does that sound right? Maybe someone could give me a recommendation on where to purchase new injectors and an O2 sensor.
... I just got in an accident, the bonne isn't looking very happy..

Get the 8-digit part numbers and run them through www.gmpartsdirect.com
I think you'll be surprised. Usually 40% cheaper than dealers, and brand new AC Delco stuff. Some of the part numbers we can help you with.
I think the most common contributor to bad mileage is the O2. That'* a safe bet if it has over 60,000 miles on it. I'd be tempted to change the injectors if I found a fouled plug, too. Sounds like you're on the right track here.

Depending on your year & model, There may be a Injector re-seal kit available instead!
This would keep the cost down & allow you to practically rebuild your own injectors too!
