Okay So I replaced the fuel filter and I didn't notice any difference. So I suppose now I must try the next thing.

All you can really do is check everything you can, test what you can, and replace what ever needs to be replaced.

If you take the PCV out and it rattles loosely when you shake it, it'* good. They are pretty cheap and replacing one is not that big of deal.

I took the PCV out it looks fine but should it come out when I pull the spring out? they were stuck together and it came out rather easily.

A friend said that it could be an air intake temperature sensor. Is that a possibility?

Yes, that can have an effect on how the engine runs. The PCM needs to know the correct temp as the air enters the MAF.
