awesome! .

Did they weigh your car, or is that the weight they had on file for our gen b'villes? because 3800lbs is heavier than I thought we weighed.

may want to censor out the plate and vin numbers.. btw

I'm not sure about that, but my emissions test papers say 1600kg, or 3527lb.

They don't weigh the cars in IL. You just come up to the bay when asked, and they punch in the number on your plates. They stop the car before the rollers, and test the pressure on the gas cap first. Then they ask you to step out of the car and into the waiting both (or as the guy forgot to mention to me, you can ride shotgun with the test driver). The driver then takes it up to the rollers/dyno-meter, waits for the other guy outside to block of the rear wheel, put the dinky fan in front, and the run proceeds.

they only test obd2 cars 96+, mine was just a quick gas cap test, and a run on the dyno (i was worried about it overheating with good reason, when i got in it when they were done the temp gauge was past 3 quarters, i think thats cuz they ran it more than once so maybe it failed on the first try or something i dunno

that'* too hot. next time you test the car, tell them to keep the heat on. that'll cool the car down significantly.
