Default Window Motors (Actuators)

Ok, now if anyone drives a car of my gen, knows what i am talking about, they know that the windows are extremely slow, like REALLY slow....now i am not sure how slow they were when they were new, or what the speed is on the OEM replacements, but I want to find some motors that are very fast, sorta like the newer ford window motors. they are in need of replacement, my passenger one BARELY makes it all the way up...kinda sounds lke rust grinding or something...please help

I replaced my drivers' side motor with an OEM-replacement unit from the parts store. It works fine; although, not lightning quick. Some people recommend spraying (lightly) some silicone along the side rails / window tracks, to help them lift up.

If you are hearing excessive 'grinding' when the window moves up and down, your nylon "window lift" belt may be chewed up. Kind of hard to do, but who knows? If you open the door panel, you may be able to inspect it "somewhat" through the holes in the door shell.
