Default WHERE IS THE ECU IN THIS BUICK?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!

Hi. Im trying to get the trouble codes from my 89 lesabre, i cant find the ecu. Nor can i find where it is anywhere on the internet. If someone could help me out with this stupid question that would be awsome. I think after i fix this buick its going up for sale........this is the MOST difficult car to find parts and fix ive ever had. So any help would be appreciated. Thanx again....

It'* above the front passenger footwell.

But you get codes by jumping terminals A and B under the steering wheel and counting blinks of the SES light.

OK, the first thing I would do is go here

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DEALE...QQcmdZViewItem

And bid on this

I know things are a little different in Canada but most parts for any H-Body are fairly easy to come by (and repair) here in the lower 48 States. What parts are you still looking for???

He'* in the same city as me and I don't have a problem getting parts for my buick. Jamey - if you need parts I know where there'* a car or 2, I don't know about the '89 Lesabre, but my 90 is a good car to me, always keeps going, then again, there'* not much left that is original on my car. But like I said if you need some help, i'll help ya out the best I can. Oh and hard to work on? these cars have 100% more working space compared to most cars I have worked on.
