I remember my ford having this... does my TC have a drain plug in it accessed through the flywheel? My tranny ain't dead, the torque converter is.. as soon as tcc locks up my slip goes away, and 1,2 are good all the way thru, but burnouts are a bit weird and i never thought of it, but it makes sense. When dead stop WOT the motor will rev fairly high then it'* like the TC hooks up, tires light up and revs fly... and the tranny feels like it hooks up at 3k... so idk. It'* weird. The clutches are all there... that'* what'* weird. I was just hoping maybe a last stitch effort trying to drain the tc out too for fluid replacement.

poor.... any idea if what I describe can be true? A TC failing in that manner? I pulled the TV cable all the way out, like way beyond WOT, and it shifted at 2.5k every time and it had a real nice shift to it, but I never broke 'em loose like I should have..
