I have a 1988 SSE and i was wondering if there were any suspensino upgrades that i can do to take away from the huge amount of body roll?

Second on the endlinks. I did mine last night on the 95 SSEi. I bought the Energy Suspension kit (Part numbers: 9.8120RC [or 9.8120R] for the front, 9.8105RC [or 9.8105R] for the rear). You'll need bolts for the rear (someone chime in with the right dimensions please).

It takes about 10-20 minutes per wheel if you've done it once already (I had done the 94'* a few weeks ago). What you're going to want to have happen to speed things up is have the bolts break on the old ones when you're taking it off. This is a GOOD thing cause you're replacing the whole endlink set.

Jack up the front and put it on stands and get the wheels off. Use your jack to raise up the arm a bit and take the pressure off the bolts. On my car, the old kit was a size 13. You'll need 2 ratchets (one deep socket and one regular socket). Just twist and wait for the bolt to break, then tap out the old crap. When you're putting the new ones in, jack the arm up about an inch/inch and a half to make it easier to line up and thread the new bolts. For the rear, put it up on stands. You shouldn't need to jack the arm up, they're easy.

Being a 87-91 I'm not sure that the rears are the same. Fronts should be. Rear bolt replacement for 92-99 is 3.5inch 3/8" grade 8 bolt with a nylock insert nut.

howdy, newbie here...so yea, batmobile has 230'000 miles, I am original owner..noticed rusty drip over rear plug just above tranny..has anyone replaced that as is, not removing engine or dropping tranny for access? Have been told mythical tales of doing so, wondering if its true.

I did put in a bottle of this $60.00 stuff recommended at local autozone, and it has been, knock on wood, a fix so far, no leak..but myself and a buddy, I ahem, hold the light and keep the attitude jovial, will be switching out the leaky rack and pinion, plus changing all 5 motor/tranny mounts, so he want sto pull the plug while we are under neath...any thoughts, leave well enough alone?

Also picked up a set of rear struts and springs, Monroe sensatracs, will throw those in soon too...Thanks to this site, I am determined to keep my baby going...so I will be around here alot, asking a lot of questions, so stay tuned...over and out..
