Junkyard; can't be too expensive. There are aftermarket ones, too, if weight is a concern.

A strut tower brace, like a sway bar, reduces body roll through turns. A brace, along with a solid sway bar with good endlinks, will keep your car from bouncing like a Slinky through tight turns. (Correct me if I'm wrong, more senior members.)

The brace keeps the strut tower angle correct durnig cornering stress, resulting in better rubber to road contact. They could have just made the towers sturdier instead but the brace weighs less. My '88 didn't even come with one, GM added it at some later model year but I don't know exactly when. Our '93 Lesabre has it but 91 to 93 are slightly different in several ways, I wouldn't assume the brace from a '93 or newer would fit without measuring it.

A brace isn't terribly complex, if you can't find one and you have a buddy good at welding you can make one, it'* just a piece of square tubing with flat plates welded or bolted on each end and holes that line up with the inner pair of strut tower bolts.

fronts are easy to weld up, rears are difficult for me though, but i'm told rears help even more...

but yes, it can completely change the way your vehicle will handle corners.

If you put the rad braces on from a 90'* caddy it will make an even bigger difference. Got mine off a Deville and it was the biggest improvement so far.
