you can put one on or Have a slight Chance of getting a fine
on my jeep i dont run a cat and i dont have to go through emissions at all and by no means am i putiting one on regardless what people say i have a stock muffler so it isnt loud at all

Well finally there'* someone on my side. The only chance of getting a fine is if a cop looks underneath and is having a bad day and decides to ticket me. I think the chances of that are slim to none. Mine has the stock muffler too and it'* not loud at all, just a nice performance tone.

by all means im not promote you to have your car in a illegal manner but i feel no matter what other members say your going to do what you want regardless that the truth and i feel the same way but they are right and in my experience with law in forcement they generally they arent going to site you for not haveing a cat but have a loud exhaust and if it isnt lound you have nothing to worry about right??

I can smell a car without a cat long before I'm close enough to look under it. Depends on how often you get pulled over, and how much the cops know about cars, I guess.

Believe me i know that they can smell when the convertor is off. But mine doesn't really, i've actually compared it to another and the scent is almost identical. So who knows.
