Default Possible to replace the left blinker / marker on the grill?

Hey guys,

Just out of curiousity, is there any way possible that you can replace the front blinker/marker section on the grill, without fully replacing the entire grill? I've replaced my grill since my accident, but the bad thing is that portion was already missing from the grill when we got it. Inspection is this month, there is no way I know how I'm going to pass since my hood is still bent [not going anywhere though], I still don't have a passenger mirror because it was broke when I bought it, and because of the marker. *Sighs*

I can't win with this car.

Oh! 1989 Bonneville LE.

What do you mean by the front marker/blinker section. Do you mean the cornering light/parking light off the corner of the headlight assembly? That'* cutout into the fender? If that'* the case then yes you can replace it, the whole front comes out as an assembly, after you remove your grille of course. The headlights and marker lights are all mounted to a plastic/metal support "rack". After you get that out the corner lights are individually replacable.

Hmm, is it easily noticable? When the sun comes back out I'm going to take a look at it to see if I can notice anything. Is this anything I can purchase at like a local pep boys or something?

No i doubt you can find one of those at a pep boys. You'll either have to order from gmpartsdirect.com if the have it or look in a junkyard. Or as someone on here if they have a spare one they'll let go for cheap.

Sadly I can't really find what I need on that website. I click the accessories tab and they don't have the year for my bonneville there. I clicked on catalogue and I'm looking through, and I found some possible matches for what I'm looking for however there aren't any pictures so I can't see what I need. I was looking for a mirror and I was looking for the marker light.

Here are some pictures as to what I may possibly be looking for...

That'* the part that I'm missing on my grill, reason #1 I will fail inspection I think.

Those are pictures of my mirror that'* busted.

If you can't get the hood up, you won't be able to replace the turn signal. It'* very difficult to even get it out with the hood up.. I think it may be easier to just pull the whole front fascia, to be honest.

I can get the hood up just fine now. So what do I need to fix it lol! One of the guys at the firehouse recommended that I check out http://www.jcwhitney.com because they would have any and all parts...

Well, regarding the mirror, here is the most that I have found for that:

http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...011258/c-10114

That'* the only thing that I can find. It'* a shame I can't find any places that actually have like, the mirror that is made for the car. :/

Now, I've been looking and I can't find anything that would help me with my lighting issue... any ideas on jcwhitney, or any other websites that I can find the cover for the light?

Just go to the junkyard. You have LE/SE mirrors, so they won't be hard to find. In Silver may be a little difficult, but you can always paint it. The turn signal will be super easy. Nothing difficult. It won't be mint, but nothing that old will look the greatest.

www.junkyarddog.com/ is a great request for parts. Some recommend carpart.com but I like junkyarddog better.

Alright well I've posted the request on Junkyard dog... I don't know what the actual terminology is for the blinker cover, so I said this:

(1) Passenger Rear View Mirror
(1) Driver side blinker cover, on the right side of the headlight while looking at it straight on...

Best I can do... watch it not work lol. *Sighs* I hope this works and they get back to me soon. I hope the prices are good too, shipping is going to be a pain. We looked constantly at junkyards because the mirror was broken when I bought it, but we found nothing. Then when we went to junkyards for a new hood, a lot of the places said that they just threw out a couple of that series of bonneville.
